Silver Tassie Wedding | Dearbhla & Kevin
A selection of photos from Dearbhla and Kevin’s wedding in the Silver Tassie wedding venue, Letterkenny, Co Donegal.
Kevin and Dearbhla chose to have their wedding ceremony in St Joseph’s Church, Rathmullan. They also decided to have the wedding reception in the Silver Tassie, a wedding venue close to Letterkenny
Dearbhla and her bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done in her parents house that morning. Aoibheann Walsh from G&G, was there from early morning to do the girls’ makeup and hair styles.
Kevin the groom, along with his groomsmen, got ready in his home house. Down the road from the Fanad Head Lighthouse.
Fr Martin Collum was the officiant that oversaw the marriage ceremony. After exchanging their wedding rings and signing the register, they made their way back down the aisle. They were congratulated by their friends and family as they left the ceremony.
We went to the Knockalla viewing point, which overlooks Ballymastocker Beach for the wedding photographs. It was just lashing rain when we arrived. Dearbhla threw on a pair of wellies and got out in it without even hesitating. There was a quick stop in the White Harte Bar in Rathmullan for a drink and to dry off.
There was a drinks reception for the guests with music by the boys from Red Alert in the lobby of the Silver Tassie.
After the meal and speeches, the newly married couple cut their wedding cake.Red Alert performed for the evening reception and the dance-floor never stopped hopping with the big crowd partying away into the night.
