A slideshow from Therese and Colin’s wedding day in the Silver Tassie hotel, Letterkenny, Co Donegal.

Congratulations to Therese McGlynn and Colin Gallagher who got married on the 3rd June 2022 – after a wedding ceremony in Glenfin, it was off to The Silver Tassie hotel in Co Donegal for the wedding reception. 

Bride Therese got ready at the family home in Cloghan with the help of Eileen,Maid of Honour and bridesmaids, Antia, Emma and Laura. Amelia, the couple’s daughter and Flower Girl, was there with the girls that morning.

Meanwhile Groom Colin was getting ready up the road in Cloghan. Patrick his brother brother & best man and groomsmen Damien, Michael . Harry, Colin and Therese’s son was the pageboy.

Hair and makeup was by Eimear Collins. Flowers were by Darling Buds. Therese was driven to the church in a vintage, red VW Beetle. The rest of the girls arrived in a stretched Hummer

The wedding mass was celebrated by Colin’s uncle, Eddie Gallagher in Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Glenn.

After exchanging their rings and signing the register, they made their way back down the aisle where they were congratulated by their friends and family. 

After the ceremony it was off to the Salmon Leap on the upper river Finn for some wedding photos. While everybody put on a pair of wellies, Therese pulled up her dress and headed up the mucky trail in her heels.

After the meal it was into the dancing. The Rock Hill Ramblers were absolutely excellent and they performed for the evening reception. The dance-floor never stopped hopping with the big crowd partying away into the night.
