A selection of photos from Ciara and Noels wedding in the Silver Tassie, Letterkenny, Co Donegal
When I arrived at Ciara’s mothers house in Letterkenny, Ciara and her bridesmaids were in the final stages of getting the final touches done to their hair and makeup. Aoibheann Walsh from G&G was there from early morning to do all the girls’ make-up.Noel in the meantime was getting ready in his home house outside Letterkenny. Ciara was helped into her beautiful wedding dress by her mother, Josaphine. After some formal photos outside the house it was then time to go to the church.
The sun was shining when Ciara and her father arrived at the Church of the Irish Martyrs in a beautiful white Mercedes wedding car. Fr Brendan was the officiant that celebrated the marriage ceremony. Ciara and Noel exchanged rings and then made their way down the aisle. As they exited the church some of their friends had gathered to congratulate them.
There was a bottle of bubbly opened as the newly married couple got into the wedding car and made their way to Ciara’s granny in Kerrykeel. Ciara relations had tea and sandwiches ready for the bridal party as they arrived. After some photos in the back garden we went to Ramelton Town for some more photos.
There was a drinks reception and music for the guests in the foyer area of the Silver Tassie. The meal was followed in the ballroom the hotel. When the meal, speeches were finished Ciara and Noel cutter wedding cake. It was then up to The Marty Fay Band to entertain the wedding guests for the rest of the evening.
