On a beautiful summer morning, the air filled with the promise of a joyous occasion, Cliodhna and Cooper embarked on the journey of a lifetime as they prepared to exchange their vows at the splendid Shandon Hotel. Nestled beside the serene Marble Hill Strand in the enchanting Dunfanaghy, Co Donegal.

The morning Preparations

The wedding day commenced with a touch of excitement and a tinge of nervousness as Cliodhna readied herself for the momentous event. Her preparations took place in the comfort of her parents’ house, a stone’s throw away from the majestic Horn Head. 

Simultaneously, not far up the road, Cooper and his groomsmen donned their smart blue suits.

The Ceremony

The Shandon Hotel, an idyllic vantage point overlooking the breathtaking Marble Hill beach, stood ready to bear witness to their union. Jim Carbin, the solemn officiant, presided over the heartwarming marriage ceremony. 

Upon completing their vows and sealing their promises with a kiss, the newlyweds and their guests made their way to the drinks reception. 

As the sun began its descent towards the horizon, casting a warm and golden glow, we went for some photos. A short journey to the iconic Horn Head allowed for some photos against the backdrop of a dramatic sunset.

The Evening Entertainment

The evening unfurled with the vivacious energy of the PopGods, the chosen entertainment for the night. Their melodies and rhythms ignited the dance floor, carrying the celebration well into the night. Friends and family came together, sharing in the joy that Cliodhna and Cooper emanated, as the music reverberated through the Shandon Hotel.
