A selection of photos from Roisin and AJ’s wedding day in the Shandon hotel, Dunfanaghy, Co Donegal.

Roisin and AJ  decided to have their wedding ceremony at St Connell’s church, Glenties. The Shandon hotel near Marble Hill Strand was the venue for their wedding reception. A beautiful wedding venue in Co Donegal situated directly on the Wild Atlantic Way and overlooks Sheephaven Bay.

Roisin and her bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done in her parents house that morning. Make-up artist Kerry Harvey was there from early that morning to do the girls’ makeup. Frances Norrby from Tangles hair studio was there to do the hairstyles.

AJ, the groom, along with his groomsmen got into their suits at his parents house outside Glenties.

Fr Adrian Gavigan was the officiant that oversaw the marriage ceremony. After exchanging their wedding rings and signing the register, they made their way back down the aisle. The newly weds friends and family congratulated them outside the church.

All the family photos were taken inside the church. Glenveagh National Park was the spot that we used for the bridal photos.

There was a drinks reception for the guests in the reception of the wedding venue as they waited to be called for the meal. The newly wed couple arrived in style to the wedding venue in a beautiful white BMW.

After the meal and speeches Roisin and AJ cut their wedding cake. While the band were setting up we took a spin over to Portnablagh to get some photos as the sun was starting to set behind Horn Head. The Madisons were absolutely excellent and they performed for the evening reception and the dance-floor never stopped hopping with the big crowd partying away into the night.
