A slideshow of photos from Bridget and Nigel’s wedding day in The Mill Park hotel, Donegal Town.

Nigel and Bridget decided to have their wedding ceremony in St. Connell’s Church, Glenties and the Mill Park hotel was the wedding venue.

Bridget and her bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done in her parents house outside Glenties that morning. Make-up artist, Kerrie James and hair stylist, Laura Kearney (Laura Lou hairstylist) were up early that morning to do the girls’ makeup and hair styles.

Nigel, the groom, along with his groomsmen, got into their black suits in Ardara. Nigel and his best man, Shaun, were taken to the church in two Mk2 Escort rally cars.

Fr Gerard Cunningham was the officiant that oversaw the marriage ceremony. After exchanging their rings and signing the register, they made their way back down the aisle where they were congratulated by their friends and family.

All the family photos were taken in the church after all the guests had left for the wedding venue.

The newlyweds had permission to have their photos taken at Woodhill House in Ardara. The gardens were filled with flowering Rhododendron and Bluebells. We also used the big pier in Mountcharles for a few more photos.

The guests enjoyed a drinks reception for in the reception of the wedding venue as they waited to be called for the meal.

The bridal party arrived at the Mill Park in two classic Volkswagen mini buses.

After the meal and speeches Nigel and Bridget cut their wedding cake.

The brilliant The Good Hustle wedding band took over and kept the dance floor full all night. Bridget’s father even got up for a song.
