A selection of photos from Isabelle and Tara’s wedding day in Markree Castle, a beautiful wedding venue in Co Sligo.

Isobelle and Tara decided to have their wedding ceremony and reception in Markree castle, Co Sligo. A 17th Century authentic Irish castle located in the beautiful County Sligo. One of the largest privately-owned castles in Ireland, Markree Castle wedding venue stands on a secluded 500-acre estate in the scenic north-west of Ireland. 

Isobelle and their bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done in her parents house that morning. Make-up artist Jodie Morrow was there from early that morning to do the girls’ makeup.Sarah Henry was there to do the hairstyles.

Tara and her bridesmaids were getting ready at the same time in Markree Castle.

They had their ceremony in the beautiful stained glass windowed church in the Castle.  Enda Harte was the officiant that oversaw the marriage ceremony.  After exchanging their wedding rings, they signed the register and made their way down the aisle. Their friends and family congratulated the newly wed couple as they left the church.

There was a drinks reception in the garden. Zara Moungummery who also done the music during the ceremony was also performing in the garden.

After the meal, Tara and Isabelle cut their wedding cake. The couple had there first dance outside in the courtyard under fairy lights.

The Top of the PopZ were absolutely excellent and they performed for the evening reception and the dance-floor never stopped hopping with the big crowd partying away into the night.
