A selection of photos from Michelle and Enda’s wedding in Markree Castle, Co Sligo.
Enda and Michelle decided to have their wedding ceremony in The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo. They had their wedding reception afterwards in Markree Castle, Co Sligo. This 17th Century wedding venue, an authentic Irish castle located in the beautiful County Sligo on the route of the Wild Atlantic Way
Michelle and her bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done in Markree Castle that morning. Sharon McCormick, was there from early morning to do the girls’ makeup. The hairstyles were done by Kreations Salon
Enda the groom, along with his best man, Oran, got ready in Coolaney, Co Sligo.
Fr Declan Boyce was the officiant that oversaw the marriage ceremony. After exchanging their wedding rings and signing the register, they made their way back down the aisle. They were congratulated by their friends and family as the left the Cathedral.
Michelle and Enda arrived at the wedding venue in a green vintage Fiat. As the guests were enjoying the drinks reception we got some photos around the grounds. After the meal and speeches, the newly married couple cut their wedding cake.
Enda and Michelle had their first dance in the courtyard. All the guests made a circle around them while holding sparklers. Red Alert performed for the evening reception and the dance-floor never emptied.
