Lorraine and Eamonn’s wedding in the Bay View hotel, Killybegs, Co Donegal

Lorraine and Eamonn’s wedding was a beautiful celebration set in the Bay View hotel, located in the charming town of Killybegs, Co Donegal. The festivities began early in the day as Lorraine prepared for her special day in the comfort of her parents’ house in Ardara, Co Donegal.

With the expert touch of Kerry Harvey, a talented makeup artist, the girls were adorned with a subtle elegance. The skilled team from Creative Hairdressing transformed their locks into stunning hairstyles, completing the bridal party’s flawless look.

The Ceremony

As the guests arrived at the Bay View hotel, excitement filled the air. The ceremony took place in a beautifully decorated room, adorned with flowers in the couple’s chosen colour scheme. The atmosphere was filled with joy and anticipation as friends and family eagerly awaited the arrival of the bride.

Barbara Allen, a warm and experienced officiant, led the ceremony. With her heartfelt words and a touch of humour, she guided Lorraine and Eamonn through their vows, symbolising their commitment to one another. The couple exchanged rings, sealing their love with a kiss, and the room erupted in applause and cheers.

As speeches commenced, laughter and tears of joy filled the room. After the speeches the guests were treated to a delightful meal at the Bay View hotel. Followed by Lorraine and Eamonn cutting their wedding cake.

Once the formalities of the reception were complete, it was time to get some photos. The newlyweds ventured to the scenic Muckross Head, where the rugged cliffs and breathtaking coastal views provided the perfect backdrop for stunning wedding photos.

The Dancing

Returning to the Bay View hotel, the guests eagerly awaited the evening’s entertainment. The Red Alert band took the stage, entertaining everyone with their energetic performances and music that had guests dancing along. The atmosphere was electric as the band played hit after hit, creating an unforgettable celebration for all in attendance.
