A selection of photos from Kristina and Gareth’s wedding in the beautiful Ballybeg House, Co Wicklow.
I met with Gareth and some of his friends as they were returning from a run. His sisters Tania and Niamh had the breakfast ready for the boys as they arrived back to house.
Kristina and her bridesmaids were getting ready in the Grouse Lodge, about 10 minutes from the wedding venue. The girls were in the final stages of getting their hair and makeup done as I arrived. A few photos of all the details and the makeup and it was time to go back down to the boys.
Gareth and his groomsmen took a quick dip and a beer in the hot tub, before they got into their suits and after a quick shot of Redbreast whiskey they were ready to meet the guests.
Kristina was helped into her beautiful wedding dress by her bridesmaids. We got some formal photos outside Grouse Lodge before it was then time to head to the chapel.
Wedding Ceremony in Ballybeg House
The sun was shinning when Kristina and her father arrived at Ballybeg House. Gareth’s uncle, Noel Cunningham was the civil celebrant of the wedding ceremony, it was also his first wedding as a celebrant. After Kristina and Gareth exchanged rings, lit the unity candles and made their way down the aisle they were congratulated by their friends and family outside the chapel.
The formal photography was all done outside the chapel and we got some photos of the bride and groom in the venue’s private shebeen and around the gardens.
Reception in Main House
There was a drinks reception for the guests in the main house. Followed by the meal in the marquee which was a short walk away from the house.
When the meal, speeches and the cutting of the cake were finished Kristina’s father and brother did their own take on Stavos Flatley. It was then onto the brilliant Sway Social wedding band to entertain the guests for the rest of the night.
