Kilronan Castle Wedding Photographer
A preview from Grace and Alan’s wedding day in the beautiful Kilronan Castle, Co Roscommon.
Grace and Alan had originally planned their wedding for July but due to the Covid 19 restrictions they had to put it on hold for a few months. Hoping that things would be back to normal by October but unfortunately things weren’t much better by the time October came around. Alan and Grace were only allowed 25 guests and no live music at the venue, but even so they decided to go ahead with their big day. Thankfully Kilronan Castle opened their doors and let the wedding go ahead.
They had their wedding ceremony in Grace’s local church, in Aughrim and as Grace arrived at the church. The groom, Alan and his groomsmen were at the top of the church waiting on Grace and her father to walk up the aisle. Fr Stephen was the celebrant that oversaw the marriage ceremony.
After exchanging their rings and making their way back down the aisle where they were congratulated by their friends and family. On the way towards Kilronan Castle we stopped off at Knockranny Woods for some photos, we got a few photos in the forest with all the autumn colours and then a few more on the jetty with the castle in the background.
We got a few photos outside the castle with the bridal party and in the middle of the photoshoot a beautiful rainbow appeared in the background. Just as we got a few photos under the rainbow the heavens opened and it started pouring rain so there was a quick dash for the castle.
