A slideshow of photos from Katie & Brian’s wedding in the Silver Tassie, Co Donegal.

When I arrived at the Carr house, Katie and her five sisters and bridesmaids were in the final stages of getting the final touches done to their hair and makeup.  Niamh Frain was there  from early morning to do all the girls’ make-up.

Katie was helped into her beautiful white wedding dress by Hannah, the chief bridemaid. We got a few family photos outside the house. A lot of thier neighbours and friends had gathered outside. Most of them should have been going to the wedding but due to the restrictions were not able.

The sun was shining when Katie and her father arrived at the St. Mary’s Church, Fanavolty, Fanad. They arrived inn style in a beautiful white Audi wedding car.

Fr. Paul Mc Geehan  was the officiant that celebrated the marriage ceremony. Brian and Katie exchanged their wedding rings on the aand then made their way down the aisle.  As they exited the church  some of their friends had gathered to congratulate them.

Fanad Lighthouse was the location of the portraits. Its a beautiful place for photos with the Atlantic sea and Malin Head in the background. There was also a stop at a small forest in Rathmullan for some more photos. It’s nice to have a couple of locations for the photos as it gives a bit of variety in the images.
There was a drinks reception in the Silver Tassie hotel for the guests as they waited for the newly married couple to arrive.
After the meal, speeches and the cutting of the cake were finished, it was time for some dancing.
The Supernovas wedding band got everyone on the dance floor for the first dance.
