Irish Castle Wedding | Catriona & Brian | Donegal Photographer
A slideshow from Catriona and Brian’s Irish castle wedding in Lough Eske, Donegal.
Catriona and Brian had chosen to have their wedding in Saint Brigid’s Church, Ballintra with the reception afterwards in Lough Eske Castle, Donegal Town.
Catriona and her bridesmaid, Anna got her hair and makeup done in her home house in Ballintra. Oliva Coleman and Kerry from Riah were there from early that morning to do the girls’ makeup and hair styles.
Brian, the groom, along with his best man, Mark put on their suits in Lough Eske Castle. Brian’s father was on hand to help the boys with their ties.
Fr. Adrian Gavigan was the officiant that oversaw the marriage ceremony. After exchanging their rings and making their way back down the aisle where they were congratulated by their friends and family.
Murvagh beach was the location for the bridal photos. Catriona had brought along a few smoke bombs which we used in the forest.
There was a drinks reception with music for the guests in Lough Eske castle as they waited for the newly married couple to arrive. Dean Connaghan was there keeping the guests entertained with his music. The newly married couple arrived at the wedding venue in a beautiful, gold, vintage wedding car.
After the meal and speeches Catriona and Brian cut their wedding cake.
It was then up to The Big Generator wedding band to keep the dance floor full all night.
