Irish Castle Wedding | Carey & Darren | Photographer

A slideshow of photos from Carey and Darren’s wedding in an Irish Castle in the North West of Ireland.

Carey and Darren chose to have their wedding in St Agatha’s Church, Clar with the reception afterwards in Lough Eske Castle, Donegal Town.

Carey and her bridesmaids got her hair and makeup done in the General White Suite of Lough Eske Castle. Debbie McAuliffe was there from early that morning to do the girls’ makeup.

Darren, the groom, along with his groomsmen put on their suits in his parents house just up the road from the castle. They had time to go to Biddy’s O’Barnes for a quick pint of Guinness before the ceremony.

Fr Anthony O’ Connor was the officiant that oversaw the marriage ceremony. After exchanging their rings and making their way back down the aisle where they were congratulated by their friends and family.

Lough Eske forest was the location for the bridal photos. Carey had brought along a few smoke bombs which we used in the forest. There was also a quick stop at the gate house of the castle for some photos beside the lake.

There was a drinks reception with music for the guests in Lough Eske castle as they waited for the newly married couple to arrive. Arco String Quartet were keeping the guests entertained with some background music. The newly married couple arrived at the wedding venue in a beautiful vintage silver Bentley.

It was then up to the Bentley Boys wedding band to keep the dance floor full all night.
