A slideshow from Heather and Mark’s wedding day in Harvey’s Point, Lough Eske, Donegal Town.
Heather and Mark, like a lot of couples this year, had to rearrange their wedding due to Covid 19. They decided to have their wedding ceremony and reception in the fantastic Harvey’s Point Country hotel on the shore of Lough Eske.
Heather and her bridesmaids got her hair and makeup done in the bridal suite of the hotel. Tippy Logronio was there from early morning to do all the girls’ makeup. Rosey Breen from Eden Hair in Enniskillen was busy at work when I arrived.
Mark, the groom and his groomsmen got into their navy suits a floor below the girls. They even had time for a quick pint of Guinness before the wedding ceremony.
Billy Hutchinson, a humanist celebrant,was the officiant that oversaw the marriage ceremony in the Garden Suite. After exchanging their rings and making their way back down the aisle where they were congratulated by their friends and family.
There was a drinks reception for the guests as we got all the formal family photos taken. With Lough Eske and the Bluestack Mountains in the background, Harvey’s Point is a great location for photos.
After the meal and speeches we took some photos outside the hotel just as the sun was setting. Heather and Mark had their first dance surrounded by all their friends and family.
