Aishling and Dermot’s outdoor wedding ceremony in Harvey’s Point, Lough Eske, Co Donegal.

Harvey’s Point Outdoor Wedding Ceremony

Aishling and Dermot’s outdoor wedding ceremony in the stunning location of Harvey’s Point, Lough Eske, Co Donegal, was nothing short of magical. The picturesque surroundings of the lake and the mountains added an ethereal touch to their special day.

Morning Preparations

As the morning sun peeked over the mountains, Aishling and her bridesmaids started to get ready. They were pampered to perfection by Aishling’s talented friend, Emma Kearney, who skillfully crafted their makeup. Meanwhile, Anne O’Gorman worked her magic, creating beautiful hairstyles that complemented each bridesmaid’s look.

In The Old Mill at Lough Eske, a charming and rustic location, the bridesmaids got into their elegant dresses. Dermot and his groomsmen, were getting ready in the comfortable confines of Harvey’s Point. Having a whiskey to clam to nerves for the ceremony ahead.

Flower creations by Nicola, known for her exquisite designs, had crafted stunning bouquets for all the girls, adding a touch of natural beauty to their attire.

The Wedding Ceremony

The wedding ceremony took place on the pier at Harvey’s Point, offering breathtaking views of the shimmering lake.. The ceremony was presided over by the wonderful celebrant, Barbara Allen, whose words were filled with love and warmth.

Dermot and Aishling made her way down the aisle to the soulful melodies of Sean Magee’s music. Sean Magee’s music continued into the reception, creating an enchanting atmosphere for the guests during the drinks reception.

After the meal and speeches, the couple ventured into the Bluestack Mountains to capture some photos at sunset. The setting sun cast a warm glow upon the newlyweds, and the natural beauty of the landscape provided a perfect backdrop.

The Dancing

As evening approached, it was time for the evening entertainment. Power Struggle, a talented band with an incredible repertoire, took the stage, filling the air with melodies that enticed guests to dance the night away.

During the buffet, the couple arranged for a fun and magical moment by having sparklers for the guests. The sparklers lit up the night, creating a mesmerising scene so we could capture some photos.

Aishling and Dermot’s outdoor wedding ceremony at Harvey’s Point was a perfect blend of natural beauty, heartfelt emotions, and just good fun.
