A slideshow from Mairead & Brian’s wedding day in Galway Bay hotel.

Mairead and Brian, like a lot of couples this year, had to rearrange their wedding due to Covid 19. They decided to have their wedding ceremony Christ the King church, Salthill, Galway with the reception afterwards in the Galway Bay Hotel, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Mairead and her bridesmaids got her hair and makeup done in a penthouse apartment overlooking Galway Bay. Collette Costello was there from early morning to do all the girls’ makeup.

Brian, the groom and his groomsmen got into their suits in The Galway Bay hotel.

Mairead and her brother arrived at the church in a white BMW wedding car.

Fr. Charles Sweeney was the officiant that oversaw the marriage ceremony. After exchanging their rings and making their way back down the aisle where they were congratulated by their friends and family.

We stopped off at Blackrock diving tower in Salthill for some photos with the bridal party.

There was a drinks reception with some live music for the guests as they waited on the newly married couple to arrive.

After the meal and speeches we took some photos outside the hotel just when a massive downpour started. Mairead and Brian had their first dance surrounded by their friends and family.
