A preview from Emma and Darren’s wedding day in Jacksons hotel, Ballybofey
Emma and her bridesmaids got her hair and makeup done in her brother’s house on the family farm. While the groom, Darren and the groomsmen got onto their suits at his Parents house outside Raphoe.
They had their wedding ceremony in Emma’s local church, St Mary’s, Convoy. The heavens opened as Emma and her father arrived in their vintage car, so there was a quick dash inside.
Darren was waiting at the altar as Emma and her father walked up the aisle. Fr Stephen Gorman, a cousin of the groom was the celebrant that oversaw the marriage ceremony.

After exchanging their rings and making their way back down the aisle where they were congratulated by their friends and family inside the church door.
Drumboe woods was the location for the photos and luckily enough as soon as we arrived the rain stopped and the sun made a brief appearance.
They had their wedding reception in Jackson’s hotel, overlooking the river Finn.
