A selection of images from Sheila and Iain’s wedding day in St. Columbas Church, Sligo.
Sheila, her bridesmaid and her sister had their hair and makeup done in their home house Drumfin, Co. Sligo. Makeup artist Sharon MacCormac had an early start to have all the girls for the 1pm ceremony.
Iain and his bestman, Alex got into their tartan kilts and jackets in Corrada Cottages and headed north towards Drumcrilffe.
Sheila and Iain decided to get married in St Columbas Church, Drumcliffe, Co.Sligo. The church where W.B Yeats is buried. It is also the church where Sheila was baptised as a baby. Register: Andrew Ison was the officiant of the wedding ceremony,
After exchanging their wedding vows and rings, they made their way down the aisle. As they exited the church, some members from the Sligo mountain rescue were waiting to congratulate them in their new Incident Command Unit.
Iain and Sheila put on their hiking boots to get some photos under the magnificent Ben Bulben mountain. We had some time to spare, so we had a quick stop in Mullaghmore for a few more photos on the sea cliffs with Cassie Bawn Castle in the background.
As the newly wed couple arrived in their wedding car, Simon from Lough Eske Castle was on hand to greet them with some well deserved bubbly.
After the meal and speeches were finished, Sheila and Iain were happy to head out some of Donegal’s finest rain for a nighttime photoshoot.
All the wedding guests made a ring around the dance floor as Sheila and Iain had their first dance.
