Sarah and Patrick had their Christmas Wedding at Lough Eske Castle, Co Donegal. A historic Irish Castle, one of Ireland best wedding venues. Nestled in the Bluestack Mountains in the north west of Ireland on the Wild Atlantic Way.

‘Twas the season of love and joy, and what better way to celebrate than with a Christmas wedding at the enchanting Lough Eske Castle? Sarah and Patrick embarked on their journey to forever on a wet December day, surrounded by the beauty of the Irish countryside.

Morning Preparations

The festivities began as Sarah and her bridesmaids prepared for the big day in the cosy Lake Lodge. There was lots of laughter as hair was styled, makeup. Meanwhile, Patrick and his groomsmen suited up in the majestic Castle, adding a touch of sophistication to the occasion.

The Ceremony

The couple had to change churches at the last minute due to a water leak. The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Frosses was the setting for their nuptials. Fr. Alan Hilliard officiated the ceremony, his warm words weaving a tapestry of love that would bind Sarah and Patrick for a lifetime. The ambiance of the church, adorned with Christmas decorations, added a touch of festive magic to the union.

The Wedding Reception

As the wedding party made their way to Lough Eske Castle for the reception, the Ulster String Quartet awaited to serenade the guests. The elegant notes of classical music added a touch of sophistication to the drinks reception, creating the perfect backdrop for the couple’s grand entrance.

The Evening Entertainment

The celebration continued with a sumptuous meal, accompanied by heartfelt speeches. The Camembert Quartet took to the stage after the speeches, setting the tone for a night of lively entertainment. The dance floor came alive as the quartet played a mix of contemporary and classic tunes, ensuring that the celebration continued well into the night.
