A selection of photos from Amy and Rory’s wedding day in Castle Leslie Estate, Glaslough, County Monaghan.
Rory and Amy decided to have their wedding ceremony and reception in the beautiful Castle Leslie estate, Glaslough, county Monaghan.
This Irish castle wedding venue is situated on 1,000 acres of undulating Irish countryside, dotted with ancient woodland and glittering lakes. It is one of the last great Irish Castle estates for weddings. It is also still in the hands of its founding family.
Amy and her bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done in Rory’s aunt’s house in Roslea, County Fermanagh. Aishling McCloskey was there from early that morning to do the girls’ makeup. Jenna McKenna, Roslea Hair done all the hair styles.
Rory and his groomsmen got into their suits in his home house. I met with the boys in the Pillar House hotel while they were having a few pints of Guinness.
They had their wedding on the grounds of Castle Leslie, overlooking Glaslough lake. Edel O’Connor was the officiant that oversaw the marriage ceremony. After exchanging their wedding rings, they signed the register. As they made their way down the aisle, confetti was thrown over the newly married couple.
We got some photos around the grounds of the castle. We even had time to go out for some night time photos while the band was setting up.
The Regulars band performed for the evening reception and the dance-floor never stopped hopping with the big crowd dancing away into the night.
