Barra and Peadar wedding in Glenveagh Castle. They had their wedding ceremony, on the boathouse at Glenveagh Castle, Co Donegal. Over looking the Lough Veagh in Donegal’s national Park.

Glenveagh National Park Wedding

On a serene April morning, Barra and Peadar woke up to the breathtaking views of Marble Hill beach at the Shandon Hotel in Dunfanaghy, Donegal. The Shandon Hotel, with its luxurious ambiance and stunning coastal scenery, was the perfect place for the couple to begin their special day.

A Picturesque Ceremony at Glenveagh Castle

Barra and Peadar made their way to Glenveagh Castle, a place steeped in history and natural beauty. The boat house, nestled within the castle grounds, provided an intimate and picturesque setting for their wedding ceremony. Friends and family gathered, as Brian O’Sullivan, the officiant, guided the couple through their vows. The serene lake and lush greenery surrounding the boat house created a magical backdrop for their wedding vows.

Celebrations at the Shandon Hotel

After the ceremony, the newlyweds were showered with love and congratulations from their guests. The celebration then moved back to the Shandon Hotel for a reception that perfectly blended elegance and traditional charm. The terrace overlooking Marble Hill beach hosted a delightful drinks reception, where guests enjoyed a selection of beverages while soaking in the stunning views and the sounds of traditional Irish music.

Ultimate Touches had transformed the venue into a wedding wonderland, with beautiful floral arrangements and elegant decor that reflected Barra and Peadar’s vision. Every detail was meticulously planned, creating an atmosphere of warmth and festivity.

A Culinary Delight and Unique Entertainment

One of the highlights of the reception was the wedding cake, a masterpiece created by Cakes by Rachel. The multi-tiered cake was as delicious as it was beautiful, leaving a lasting impression on everyone.

Adding a touch of mystery and amazement to the celebrations was Oisin Foley, a brilliant mind reader who captivated the guests with his astonishing performances. His presence added a unique and memorable element to the day, leaving everyone in awe.

As the sun set and the evening approached, DJ Stevie Dee took over, ensuring the dance floor was never empty. With a mix of classic hits and modern tunes, he kept the energy high and the guests dancing well into the night.

Congratulations to the happy couple, Barra and Peadar, on their wonderful wedding day!
