How it all started
I’ve always been drawn to creating, noticing the small details others might miss, and turning them into
something lasting.
That instinct led me to study Product Design at LYIT, where I first picked up a film SLR
camera. I went on to study Design & Communication at the University of Ulster, and later completed a
Masters in 2011, where I specialised in the Physiology of Photography — the science behind how we see
and feel through images.
For over 15 years now, photography has been my full-time world. My style is documentary at heart —
real, artistic, and full of feeling. I work with both natural and creative lighting to capture not just how your
day looked, but how it felt. The big moments, yes — but also the fleeting ones: the glances, the gestures,
the laughter you didn’t even realise I caught.
I have been lucky to photograph weddings all over Ireland, across Europe and even in Canada.
My goal is simple: to make images that are as emotional as they are beautiful, and to give you
photographs that transport you back to the exact moment they were made. Your wedding portraits should
be super speedy (max 20 mins) so you can get back to your family, friends and party. They should be
enjoyable, relaxed, creative and fun. You’re not going to be posing for hours – the short session is all
about you guys having a giggle together while we create some unique portraits.
I’m based in Lough Eske, just outside Donegal Town, surrounded by the wild beauty of the northwest.
With Harvey’s Point and Lough Eske Castle just down the road, I’m lucky to work in some of Ireland’s
most stunning wedding locations — and to call this place home.
