A Spring Wedding in Castle Dargan: Aine and Rory

Aine and Rory had their spring wedding in Castle Dargan, Co. Sligo in the other west of Ireland. On the way to the venue they stopped at Mullaghmore and a snow capped Bumbulben for some wedding photos.

In the quaint town of Donegal, amidst the rolling hills and the gale force winds of the Atlantic coast, a tale of love unfolded as Aine and Rory embarked on their journey of marriage. From the picturesque landscapes to the heartfelt moments shared, their wedding day was nothing short of magical.

The Morning Preparations

Aine, radiant as ever, began her day in Donegal Town, surrounded by her bridesmaids The talented hands of Hannah McFadden, the makeup artist extraordinaire. With delicate strokes and careful precision, Hannah accentuated Aine’s natural beauty, creating a look that was both timeless and elegant.

Grainne Gallagher, a master of hairstyling, worked her magic to craft intricate hairstyles that complemented each bridesmaid. Ensuring that every detail was perfect for the occasion.

Meanwhile, in the tranquil village of Laghey, Rory and his groomsmen prepared for the day’s festivities. Having a craft beer, before they made they way to the church in Ballintra.

The Wedding Ceremony

Aine and her father made their way to St. Bridget’s Church in Ballintra, where Fr Adrian Gavigan awaited to officiate their union. Surrounded by family and friends, they pledged their love and devotion to one another. Sealing their commitment for a lifetime.

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds embarked on a journey to their wedding venue, with a stop at Mullaghmore for a picturesque backdrop. Against the backdrop of the rugged coastline and the majestic Benbulben, they braved the cool and windy weather.

The Wedding Reception

Finally, as the evening descended upon Castle Dargan in Sligo, their wedding venue set the stage for an unforgettable celebration. Surrounded by family and friends, Aine and Rory danced the night away to the melodic tunes of The Vinyls.
